Vietnamese IT firm FPT Software joined hands with Nvidia to construct a $200 Million Artificial Intelligence (AI) factory.
AI and cloud-based technologies are being recognized as necessities across industries. Nvidia and Vietnamese IT firm FPT Software are joining forces to shape the future of AI and cloud computing. A $200 Million deal was signed between both parties to construct an AI factory and transform Vietnam into an AI hub.
Vietnamese IT Firm Partnered With Nvidia
On April 23, FPT Software, a Vietnamese IT firm, took on social media platform X to announce its collaboration with the US chipmaker Nvidia. The strategic partnership aims to shape the future of AI and cloud computing worldwide.

A $200 Million agreement was signed between both parties to bolster its cloud and AI capabilities in service offerings. The partnership will result in the development of AI factories for AI research and development and the expansion of AI potential globally.
FPT is prepared to invest $200 Million in constructing an AI factory using Nvidia’s latest technologies, such as Nvidia AI Enterprise software and Nvidia H100 Tensor Core GPUs. The AI factor will offer cloud GPU services to FPT’s corporate customers globally, with the acceleration of AI applications and improved research capabilities.
“FPT is committed to Digital transformation, AI, Cloud, and Education.”, said Dr. Truong Gia Binh, Corporation Chairman and Founder of FPT. Gia Binh added that this collaboration will develop a comprehensive platform for state-of-the-art products built on AI and Cloud.
Keith Strier, the Vice president of Nvidia, also responded to the worldwide initiative.
“AI holds the potential to empower the economies of every nation and improve human lives. Using AI in different sectors like healthcare, agriculture, manufacturing, climate, and many more will strengthen the economy and help Vietnam emerge as an AI nation”, said Keith Strier.
What’s The Plan?
The partnership aims to deliver a one-stop shop for AI and Cloud products, tech experts, GPU infrastructure, and domain expertise. It also showcases FPT Software’s motive to establish Vietnam as the next global AI & tech hub.
The Vietnamese IT firm will also strengthen its AI workforce using Nvidia’s programs, which include an educational curriculum and activities, training programs, and lab facilities. All these programs will also be offered at both university and high school levels. Such a plan will help to make over 30K students aware of AI and cloud technologies in the upcoming 5 years.
